Howell Rescue Systems and its
dealers offers a service program on all brands of rescue tools. This
service program is designed to further the life of your rescue tool.
Doing a yearly maintenance can increase the life of your tool system by
approximately half. With the ever rising cost of purchasing new
tools, a yearly inspection and maintenance to extend the useful life of
your system becomes increasingly important.
The program is two fold, first to
make sure your tools are working at their top performance (providing
trouble free tool operation) and secondly, to catch potential problems
before they become safety hazards.
A 75 point check of your rescue
system will be done, which includes:
- Change oil in engine
- Change hydraulic oil
- Test engine
- Lubricate moving parts
- Pressure test all lines and
fittings
- Disassemble and examine all
critical components
- Test the tools and pumps
operating pressure
- Test to insure all valves are
working properly
If a routine service of the tool
is not sufficient to insure future operation of the tool or if the
technician feels that continued operation of the tool poses a safety
hazard, a loaner tool would be provided to keep you in service while your
tool is brought back to our shop for a repair estimate (if unable to give
on site) and/or repaired.
