The Power Wedge is a multi-use, forcible entry tool, originally designed for
opening entry doors. At American Rescue Technology we adapted this tool for many uses,
including vehicle rescue, confined space rescue, structural collapse, machinery
entrapment, machine maintenance, and many others. At American Rescue Technology we believe
the time for "one tool, one job" is over. Multi-use tools are the future of the
firefighting/law enforcement fields.
The Power Wedge comes in a molded plastic carrying case, keeping all pieces in
one place. No more searching for a hammer or pry bar, everything is included in the
compact kit. Weighing in at 37 Lbs., the kit is easily portable by one person and can be
used in hazardous conditions if necessary.
