The Hand
Vario is a self-contained forcible entry tool. Primarily designed as a
first response tool for vehicle rescue, it is also a valuable resource for
structural collapse and confined space rescue. The Hand Vario spreads to
10”, produces up to 18,000 lbs of spreading force and 50,000 lbs of
cutting force. All of this in a tool that weighs only 22 lbs. With no
need of a power unit, the Hand Vario can be used in nearly all
environments. In many situations, the Hand Vario finishes the job before
the heavy hydraulics can be taken off the truck.
The new Hand Vario is lightweight and
compact, and is excellent for the first responder. The Hand Vario is
completely self-contained and needs no additional power source, requires
no set up time and can be put into operation immediately. The Hand Vario
