The Hand Vario is a self-contained forcible entry tool.  Primarily designed as a first response tool for vehicle rescue, it is also a valuable resource for structural collapse and confined space rescue.  The Hand Vario spreads to 10”, produces up to 10,000 lbs of spreading force and 50,000 lbs of cutting force.  All of this in a tool that weighs only 22 lbs.  With no need of a power unit, the Hand Vario can be used in nearly all environments.  In many situations, the Hand Vario finishes the job before the heavy hydraulics can be taken off the truck.
