The new energy pack for the Freedom Series tools offers 30% more power, a built-in DC charger and a screw-lock plug, all in new lightweight packaging. The new energy pack is designed to need little maintenance and provide more power for the Freedom Series tools. It is worn over the shoulder or back with the padded belts provided. The new Freedom Series energy pack has an externally mounted fuse holder for quick and easy changing. The new screwlock quick connector allows the tools to be connected easily. The new energy pack can be plugged into a common vehicle cigarette lighter for charging and gives the experienced user enough energy to dismantle up to three vehicles. Click for a Brochure

The energy pack consists of a control module and a lead-acid, gel cell battery (12V/20Ah) which is rechargeable, leakproof and position-insensitive. The control module consistsof a housing that includes a plug-connection, a contactor relay and a charge monitor with a test key, a reset key and a buzzer. The charge monitor includes an under-voltage protection feature and a total discharge protection feature.

The battery in the new energy pack is a lead accumulator (12 V/20Ah) which is encapsulated, maintenance free, position insensitive and leakproof. The battery life is approximately 1000 charging cycles and is replaceable.
