Low Profile Mask
The double curvature, optically corrected lens provide a greater
field of vision and easier maneuvering in tight areas than all other
facemasks. And the regulator does not inhibit range of motion
or view. Plus, because of its low profile design, the mask
fits with a bomb squad face shield better than any competitor's
mask.

Communications
The hands-free two-way radio communication is established through an
in-mask waterproof microphone, a unique earpiece speaker, and a
radio link to your existing radios. The mic does not pick up
external noise and the amplifier is voice activated.

Regulator
A one-piece mask and regulator with
patented AirSwitch©,
eliminates the difficulty of docking a demand valve, especially
under a bomb suit. The wearer switches instantly between
ambient air and cylinder air as often as necessary. Simply
push down on the switch for cylinder air, and push up for ambient
air. It saves air and critical seconds. It's the only
regulator that can be submerged in water for easy cleaning. An
additional feature on the front of the regulator is a manual bypass
that provides an 85 to 130 liter air flow in case of emergency.

Heads-up Status Display
Visible only to the user, a five-light display is built into the
nosepiece inside the facemask. At a glance, it gives the
wearer a continuous, accurate readout of the air pressure status.
Instead of a noisy bell or whistle alarm, a flashing red light
indicates low pressure. A steady green light acknowledges
radio transmission. And a yellow light comes on to indicate
when batteries are low and need charging.

Control Console
The Control Console houses the stealth mode and voice
amplification. Each component allows you the ability to focus
on the task at hand without concentrating on gadgets and readouts.
Voice amplification is standard on all units. It is connected
to the waterproof microphone mounted inside the facemask. No
additional add-ons to the facemask are needed. For radio
integration, all that is needed is an interface cable that attaches
to your existing radios.

Stealth Mode
ISI's technology makes the Viking ST easy to use without
interfering in your operations with options like Stealth Mode.
It allows the wearer to keep in constant contact while in quiet
tactical environments. For silent entry, one click turns off
the unit's flashing locator lights and voice amplification while
allowing radio communications to be received through an earpiece
speaker. |
